Loracta uses a small number of first-party cookies and similar browser storage to keep the service secure, remember choices, load optional embeds, and understand aggregate usage when visitors consent.
Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are used because they are required to provide the service you request. Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only with consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 TDDDG.
The platform consent record is stored in a first-party cookie named kms_cookie_consent. It records category choices, policy version, timestamp, and the source of the choice.

Privacy signals
We honor Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. If your browser sends either signal and you have no prior choice on file, non-essential categories default to OFF.
Managing preferences
Retention
The consent cookie is retained for up to 365 days unless you change or clear it earlier. When the active cookie policy version changes, the banner asks you to confirm choices again.
Session and security cookies may expire sooner according to browser session, sign-in, and security settings. Optional third-party embeds may set their own cookies only after you enable the relevant category or interact with the embed.

We update this page when the underlying processing, service terms, or legal references change materially.
