Terms of service

If you use Loracta for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree with these terms, do not create an account or use the service.

Loracta provides a multi-tenant content and knowledge platform with workspace administration, public-site rendering, multilingual search, citation-supported AI assistance, transcription, translation, donor tooling, and related services.

Features may differ by plan, tenant configuration, region, and optional integrations. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features provided that core paid functionality is not materially reduced without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality, assigning appropriate workspace roles, and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account unless a stricter local age requirement applies.

You are responsible for having the rights, consents, licenses, and lawful bases needed to upload, process, publish, or share customer content, including personal data, copyrighted works, recordings, and donor information.

Public surfaces, Knowledge Commons participation, federation hubs, and open-license publishing may expose content to third parties. Use the workspace publishing and license controls carefully before making material public.

AI and automation features assist with search, drafting, summarization, transcription, translation, and citation-supported answers. Outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by qualified people before publication or reliance.

You may not present synthetic output as another person’s authored work, use AI features to impersonate people, or bypass human review where the context requires it.

Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually as selected. Taxes, payment processing, failed payments, renewals, downgrades, and cancellations are handled through the billing flow presented at checkout or in the workspace.

Sponsored or free tiers, including NGO Free seats, may be subject to eligibility review, quota limits, and continued sponsorship availability.

Your use of Loracta must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, third-party rights, payment-network rules, and any workspace-specific policies.

You may close your account or cancel paid service according to the workspace and billing controls. On termination, workspace data can be exported through available export tools and is deleted or retained according to the DPA, customer agreement, and legal retention duties.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, content, donation processing, or public publishing when necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, address non-payment, or enforce these terms or the AUP.

Except where expressly agreed otherwise, Loracta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every AI output, translation, transcript, citation, or public-site rendering will be error-free.

Loracta’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the previous twelve months, except where liability cannot be limited by mandatory law, including intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or statutory product liability.

These terms are governed by German law. Where legally permissible, disputes are subject to the courts of Berlin, Germany. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance through the workspace, account email, or another appropriate channel unless the change is legally required or clearly beneficial.

We update this page when the underlying processing, service terms, or legal references change materially.
