Loracta ships a single-sign-on adapter and an ACL-aware chat bot for Mattermost, the open-source team-chat platform. It is an integration we build and support — not a chat product we sell.
Single Sign-On
Members log into your Mattermost with their existing Loracta account — no second password, no separate user directory to maintain. Membership changes in Loracta take effect on login and chat access automatically.
The @loracta bot
DM the bot a question from any Mattermost channel and get a cited answer sourced from your archive — scoped to what that member is allowed to see, with the same access control as the workspace itself.

Bring your own Mattermost
Already running Mattermost yourself, or happy to? Connect it to Loracta: the SSO adapter and bot plugin are included in the Growing plan at no extra cost. You keep hosting and operating Mattermost; we support the integration.
Managed hosting add-on
Prefer not to run the server yourself? We can host and operate your Mattermost instance for you as a paid add-on — deployment, upgrades, and monitoring on us; your team just uses chat.
Support boundary: the SSO/bot integration is supported for every Growing+ tenant regardless of who hosts Mattermost. Server-level support (uptime, upgrades, backups, infrastructure incidents) is only in scope on the managed-hosting add-on. Questions about which applies to you? Contact us.
Nonprofit organizations
Mattermost, Inc. offers its own nonprofit licensing program directly to eligible organizations. If you qualify, we can help you apply and pass the license cost through at what Mattermost charges — we do not mark it up or resell it. Ask your Loracta contact for the current process and timeline.

Does Loracta replace our chat tool?
No. Loracta is a living-archive and publishing platform. The Mattermost integration connects your existing (or new) team chat to that archive with SSO and a cited-answer bot — it is an integration, not a chat product we build or sell.
Do we need Mattermost already installed?
No. You can start a Mattermost instance yourself using our setup docs, or use the managed-hosting add-on if you would rather we run it for you.
What tier is this on?
The SSO adapter and @loracta bot are included starting on the Growing plan. Managed hosting is available as a paid add-on on any tier that includes the integration.
Who do we contact if Mattermost itself goes down?
If you host it yourself, that is on your infrastructure. If you use the managed-hosting add-on, that is on us — see the support-boundary page for exact response expectations.
